The New York Giants have locked up two of their first-round draft picks — but one remains unsigned.
Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence and cornerback DeAndre Baker, drafted 17th and 30th overall, respectively, agreed to their first NFL contracts, the team annonced Friday.
Quarterback Daniel Jones — the sixth pick in the draft — is yet to sign his deal.
Lawrence played three seasons at Clemson, winning two national titles and being named an All-ACC selection each year. Baker suited up for 51 games in four seasons at Georgia and was named a consensus All-American in 2018. Both are expected to help a defense that ranked 24th in the league last season.
